i am the proprietor of a firm induldged in taking Ministry Of Defence Contracts(Annual) all over India.I am having 3 Nos. office in three different states..1.ORISSA(Balasore city)
2.ANDHRA PRADESH(Vishakapatnam).3.MAHARASHTRA(Pune city)..Now sir I am registered initially under EPF in the state of Orissa..Now sir I have got a contract in Vishakapatnam,a state different from Orissa state..Now my Q's is:-
1.Will my single registration of EPF in Orissa can be useful for my Local Employees working in Visakhapatnam???
2. Do I have to register again and again of EPF in every state wherever I take up new contract in the same company name????
3. As a single Firm, cant I employ every my employee though they are working in different states under a single EPF registration in Orissa??As this can save lots of my money in getting registered in every states wherever I take up new work..
Please reply me Sir immediately as its on a very urgent basis..

I worked for a private limited company from 14april2008 to 30december2008 where my probation period was for 6 months. So after 6 months I received my confirmation cum increment letter on 12nov2008. But a medical insurance which was supposed to be done right after that was not done till time of resignation. So during 14otober2008 to 30december2008 I had to serve at the company without any medical insurance & was assigned both station & outstation duties. I think this discrimination was just due to the fact that I belonged to the Scheduled Caste community. So can I teach the company a lesson for not abiding by Law & practice unlawful discrimination? Can I claim for any compensation? Plz do reply.

sir please tell us about the applicable of esic to the transport provider for any company on the following points
1.If a company as hired a tranport provider and the transporter is covered under the esic can he subcontract the service
2.If the transport porvider is subcontracted the service to many other single owner(to say that he has heired vehicles for the sigle owners and attached the same).
3.If the subcontracted single owner vehicle is paid more than the ceiling limited payment (10000)will he be brought under the preview of esic
4.The subcontractor is giving the exclusive service to one single company
Is it mandatory to remmit the PF of every contract labour? suppose one contract labour comes only for two days in month still we have to remmit his PF for 2 days?
He will not join his duties in future.

Hi,
we are coverd under ESIC by ESI corporation where few of our employees fall under this purview and we also have a sophisticated mediclaim policy applicable to all our employees .
we are hiring some employees who would be earning less salary than 10k intially when the resource is on training but covered by our medical policy and later when he is released in to project he would be out of ESI limit .
Should we cover these employees under ESI For these intial period , are there any exemptions (case law citations available to )to not cover these employees .

I have got an elaborate explanation regarding legality and illegality of strikes and lock outs in PUBLIC UTILITY SERVICES.
In case of private enterprises, what is the procedure adopted for strike and lockouts.
In case, workmen has an industrial Dispute and resort to strike, whether two notices as mentioned in I.D Act is necessary?
In case, an employer resort to lock out, what is the procedure, whether the two notices are needed.
Does Standing Orders of an industrial establishment in Private Sector, contain any procedure for Strikes or lock outs.
I hope I have clarified my question. The earlier question in this connection still remains unanswered,and I received a mail saying that the question is not clear.

1. THE COMPANY IS COVERED UNDER ESIC AND HAVING AGREEMENT WITH THE TRANSPORT PROVIDER FOR THE COMMUTATION OF ITS EMPLOYEES
2. THE TRANSPORT PROVIDER IS ALSO COVERED UNDER THE ESIC.
3. THE TRANSPOST PROVIDER HAS SUBCONTRACTED (HEIRED) SINGLE VEHICLE OWNER FROM PUBLIC FOR THE ABOVE PURPOSE.
4. THE COMPANY IS PAYING FOR THE ABOVE SERVICE ON KILOMETER BASIS INCLUDING SERVICE TAX AND AFTER TDS DEDUCTIONS
5. THE TRASPORT PROVIDER IS PAYING ABOVE Rs.10000/- ON AN AVERAGE TO SINGLE VEHICLE OWNERS AND CONTENDING THAT ESIC IS NOT APPLICABLE ON THOSE PEOPLE
